Natalie is a Specialist Nurse in Organ Donation (SN-OD) with the National Health Service Blood & Transplant (NHSBT). She is embedded at the Royal Free Hampstead NHS Trust Intensive Care Unit, and also works as a member of the London Organ Donation Services Team during on calls, covering all ICU and A&E departments within the M25. Her areas of interest include donor optimisation and organ donation within different religious and cultural groups.
Prior to joining the NHSBT, Natalie was a senior nurse in intensive care at Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust for 5 years, and a member of their End of Life Care and Clinical Guidelines groups. She is also an experienced renal nurse having previously worked in transplantation, dialysis and general nephrology for 4 years.
